Lords-

There are three Lords in The Knights of the Realm. The Lords form the clan council. The Lords must show all of the qualities expected from Knight Captains and Paladins and in addition be proven Leaders with the ability to run the clan in an appropriate manner. A lord can only be removed from his seat of power if voted out by the other two Lords. In the event of a split decision the Knight Captains have the final vote. Lords need no suffix to indicate leadership but wear the title of Lord in their names. There must be three Lords at all times.

Knight Captains/Emissary Knight-

The Knight Captains and Emissary Knight have responsibility for the Paladins under them. Knight Captains and the Emissary are answerable only to the Lords. A Knight Captain should always wear the suffix {KC} to indicate their high rank and privileged position and add the prefix 'Sir' to their names. An Emissary should wear the suffix {EK} and the prefix 'Sir'. There are two Knight Captains employed within the Realm. One responsible for MTW/VI and the other in Rome. The Emissary Knight holds the same rank and priviledges but is also responsible for clan diplomacy and directly assists the Lords with website matters and technical issues.

Paladins-

Paladins are members of the clan who have excelled in every area and have characters befitting of a Realm Knight. They have also excelled in areas such as fighting prowess, loyalty to the clan, honour and respect. Paladins behave impeccably at all times and have earned the complete trust of the clan council. Paladins are what all knights and squires should strive to become, they are the elite. Paladins are answerable to their assigned Knight Captain and the Lords. Paladins should wear the suffix {P} to indicate their elite status and wear the prefix 'Sir' on their names.

Knights-

Knights are full members of the clan who have displayed the attributes and qualities expected of a member of the Realm. A knight will be assigned a Knight Captain who will oversee any training requirements. Knights will aproach their assigned Knight Captain with any issues that arise whilst playing MTW/VI or Rome. Knights should wear the suffix {K} to indicate their Realm Knight status and should add the prefix 'Sir' to their name.

Squires-

Squires are the new blood in the clan. All players on tryout become a squire and should familiarise themselves fully with the clan code of conduct and act accordingly at all times. After a period of time the clan council will vote on whether or not the Squire has shown the required attributes. The Squire will either be promoted to full member and Knight or will be asked to leave the clan. Squires should wear the suffix {S} to indicate their status whilst on trial.
